                                   Sylvana Labeyrie is a French harpist, she began playing the harp at the                                     age of 8, a few years later she joined her first orchestra the             , with                                     which she recorded CDs and turned Eastern Europe. At that time,                                               Sylvana was also singing with the Bordeaux Opera youth choir, taking                                       the time to study Irish music on the violin, as well as a bit of bassoon.
 
                                  In 2011 Sylvana moved to England to study at the                                                                           where she is now in her final year. Therfore Sylvana is now a student of                                     the well know pedagoge                              as well as the international                                         harpist 
                                  Since 2013 Sylvana is writing her own music using traditional                                                       compositional technic as well as electronic composition using softwar. 
 

Working along side composers, two pieces have been dedicated to her, Dépression atmosphérique by the Italian composer                 and Étude Pédalogique by the slovenian composer  
 
Sylvana as won second price at the international harp competition Suoni D'arpa in Italy as well as at the international Concours Français de la Harpe in France, she has as well received a special price at the 2012's North London harp competition in England. 
 
This year Sylvana has been selected to be part of the                                        
evole schema, playing alongside Alison Martin, under the baton of Edward Gardner.
